Confirmation Class

Spring 2012

Open to youth 6th grade and older.  Classes will run on Sunday afternoons from 1-2:30 p.m. in Room #124 of the DPUMC Children’s Wing.  Class will begin Sunday, February 26th, and follow the schedule below:

Schedule:

· Week 1: Who is God? (February 26th)

· Week 2: Who am I? (March 4th)

· Week 3: What is Sin? (March 18th)

Wed. March 21st 6-7:30 p.m. Makeup Session

· Week 4: Who is Jesus Christ? (March 25th)

· Week 5: Who is the Holy Spirit? (April 1st)

· Week 6: Choosing Christ (April 15th)

Wed. April 18th 6-7:30 p.m. Makeup Session

· Week 7: Choosing to live as a Christian (April 22nd)

· Week 8: Choosing the Holy Spirit (April 29th)

· Week 9: Means of Grace (May 6th)

Wed. May 9th 6-7:30 p.m. Makeup Session

· Week 10/11: Schedule 1 on 1 personal interviews with Pastor Deborah (May 14-May 24)

· Sunday, May 27th - Confirmation Sunday (at both worship services).  Brunch for Confirmands and their families at 9:40 a.m. in the Concourse. 

Please prayerfully consider if this might be your time to Claim the Name of Jesus Christ!  Participants are required to complete all 9 sessions.  One makeup session for each 3 classes is offered to help to help in the completion of the 9 total sessions.   Please contact Reverend Kraus with any questions.
