Food Pantry

DPUMC pantry is available to Deer Park and surrounding neighbors in need.  The pantry was started in the year 2000 by Rev. Chance, and associate Joe Jones.The pantry is filled with items that is bought by individual families of the DPUMC congregation.  When the pantry has a need, an email is sent out and that need is filled.

Deer Park United Methodist Church Food Pantry Items:

canned vegetables

canned beans

spaghetti sauce

jelly

peanut butter

tuna fish

canned meat product

macaroni and cheese

rice (regular size bag)

dried beans (pinto)

canned fruit

canned soup

cereal (box)

 

In 2009 the DPUMC food pantry gave out 416 boxes or 18,720 lbs of food.
