Sunday Mornings: Nursery-8:30-12 noon Rm#134, 
Sunday Morning Growth Group 9:40 a.m. Rm# 125
From the beginning, children are always hearing, learning, and growing.  Utilizing the Bible Foundations curriculum, our Nursery and Preschool Sunday School program shares the Word of God with the smallest Children of God, in a uniquely age appropriate way.  Through the use of song and dance, craft and story, Preschool Children birth-preschool will hear the Words of God each Sunday morning.

Wednesday Nights: 6-7:30 p.m. Rm # 129 & 127
During Wednesday Night Live, our Preschool Children age 3 and up have the opportunity to sing the Words of God in our Cherub Choir (ages 3-kinder) and work on a craft, designed to illustrate the bible story for that week.

Annually: 
Preschool Vacation Bible School: ages 3-5, Summer.  A three day experience of God’s word in song, creative play, arts, story and snack!

Building on the foundation laid in Preschool, our School Age Children continue to Hear, Know and Do the Word of God as they learn that all parts of life can be lifted up in Worship to God.  Utilizing the Worship KidStyle curriculum, your child will search the Word of God, and Worship thu Crafts, Worship thu Dramatic Play, Worship thu Games, thru Exploration and Discovery during Sunday Morning Growth Groups.

Wednesday Nights: 6-7:30 p.m. Rm # 127& 129
During Wednesday Night Live, Children 1st-6th grade have the opportunity to Worship God in our Raise the Praise Children’s Choir and work on a craft, continuing the Bible Story discussed during Sunday School.

Annually:

  • School Age Vacation Bible School: ages Kinder-5th grade, Summer: A five day experience of Gods word in song, creative play, arts, story, science and snack. 
  • District Camp: 4th-12th grade, Summer.  A 5 day time apart to study, play and praise.  Lakeview Retreat Center

 Confirmation Class - Claim the Word

Annually: Sunday afternoons at 1 p.m., or Wednesday evenings at 6 p.m. Rm#124,
DPUMC'S Confirmation Class is a 9 week class focusing on the next step in faith development- Claiming the Name of Jesus Christ. Participants will discover; Who is God?, Who am I?, Who is Jesus Christ?, Who is the Holy Spirit?, and What does this mean for me? This class is open to youth 6th grade and older.

Sunday Mornings: Sunday Morning Growth Groups 9:40 a.m. in the Family Life Center
Now that the Words of God have been heard, searched, and claimed our youth focus on what it looks like to Live the Word of God each and every day. Focusing on life application bible study, your teen will learn put faith into practice. 
 
Sunday Nights: United Methodist Youth Fellowship, 5:30 p.m.
Life as a teen can be busy, over full and stressful. Join us on Sunday nights as we take a breath, play and praise God together. 
 
Wednesday Nights: 6-7:30 p.m.
During Wednesday Night Live, our teens gather together to study the Mission Field, and what it means to put Words into Service.
 
Annually:
· District Camp: 4th-12th grade, Summer. A 5 day time apart to study, play and praise. Lakeview Retreat Center
· U.M.ARMY: 9th-12th grade, Summer: A 7 day mission trip within Texas designed to serve people in need and promote spiritual growth and leadership development in youth.
· B.I.G.H.O.U.S.E,:7th-8th grade, Summer: A 5 day mission trip within Texas designed to prepare youth to be the hands and feet of Jesus Christ, by providing opportunity to be in mission to churches in need everywhere .
